As a designer who is constantly pushing myself, I believe that my definitions of beauty and the techniques that I favor are subjective and temporary. I believe that design and art are most satisfying when they can overcome challenges, rather than compromising or settling. Because of this competitive way of thinking, I work by the idea of continually changing my habits and experimenting so that my identity as an artist and designer are inseparable and prevalent through-out my life. I have a fear of stagnation – the equivalent of creative suicide – in both my potential for both my growth and my work, and it is that fear and self-consciousness that drives me. Whether it be projects that take a month to complete, or personal short hobbies, I live for the simple peace of mind knowing that the day did not go to waste.
